Sugarman won 2013 Academy Awardfor 'Best Documentary'
Searching for Sugarman, the British-Swedishdocumentary about the life of Sixto Rodriguez has won the 2013 Academy Awardfor 'Best Documentary' in LA overnight.
The documentary follows two South African fans search that has stretched nearly three decades to discover their hero, and share his story with the world.
Rodriguez has proven to be one of the hottest tickets in Australia as his tour dates sold out months ago. Due to the relentless demand, Bluesfest has added more shows and the third and FINAL Sydney show at the Enmore Theatre on 19 March has just gone on sale.
