Second David Gray Show Announced!
Due to overwhelming demand, master songwriter and performer David Gray has added a second Sydney date to his Australian Mutineers tour next April. In addition to his almost sold out performance on Wednesday 1st April 2015, David Gray will return to the State Theatre on Thursday 2nd April 2015 for his second Sydney show.Tickets for his Melbourne show at the Palais on Sunday 5th April have also been highly sought after.
David Gray captured the world’s attention in 1998 with his breakout multi-platinum album White Ladder, over the years he has continued to build on his success and remains one of the UK’s most admired singer- songwriters. On stage Gray lives every word and every note, immersing himself into the whole experience. His songs ‘This Year’s Love’, ‘Babylon’, ‘Please Forgive Me’, ‘Sail Away’ from his 1998 album White Ladder have become eternal & unforgettable hits. David was described in his early career as ‘a young Bob Dylan’ by Joan Baez in 1992 – (Bob’s muse when he was in his early career) and now 10,000,000 album sales later, David STILL has the record for Ireland’s biggest selling album with White Ladder .
The Mutineers tour is David Gray’s first Australian tour in six years, and will be a celebration of his famous favourites, as well as new tracks from his tenth and latest release,Mutineers (2014); “Timeless – As the likes of Cat Stevens, Van Morrison and Bruce Springsteen’’- Peter Vincent (Sydney Morning Herald) on Mutineers
In addition to his Sydney and Melbourne shows, David Gray will be stopping by Bluesfest in Byron Bay next Easter, West Coast Blues and Roots and has three dates in New Zealand.
