During a six-decade career, the all-time icon and Grammy-winning giant of jazz George Benson has earned his place in both the history books and the biggest venues around the world.
By the late-’60s, as an instrumentalist, Benson’s name was already mentioned in a reverential whisper amongst the jazz genre’s connoisseurs. He was even one of the few musicians capable of keeping up with the brilliant but prickly trumpeter Miles Davis.

But everything changed when Benson released 1976’s chart-topping Breezin’ as his first album for Warner Brothers, “Until then, I’d only played guitar on my records,” he says. “They didn’t even know that I sang. So my producer, Tommy LiPuma, he only allowed me one chance at singing on ‘This Masquerade’. So that one take is the only take that exists. And it went to #1. It became Record Of The Year at the Grammys. It changed my whole life. It changed the lives of many people.”

Benson had a golden touch in that late-’70s period, whether recording the original 1977 take of ‘The Greatest Love Of All’ or delivering an all-time-great live album with the following year’s Weekend In L.A featuring the hit ‘On Broadway’. But these flirtations with the mainstream were all leading to 1980’s all-conquering ‘Give Me The Night’: a scat-singing, disco-flavoured smash, whose global sales swept up a fresh generation of Benson fans.
The momentum has never left him. As Benson’s ageless career has crossed over the decades, he’s walked a perfect tightrope, still commanding a fierce respect amongst the most discerning jazz audiences, while firing off hit singles that are loved the world over, from ‘Turn Your Love Around’ to ‘Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love For You’.

Even in the past decade, at a time when most living legends would step back, slow down and bask in their royalties, there’s a creative curiosity about Benson that has kept the veteran jazzman active and forging ahead. In 2013, he reinvigorated the covers-album format with the fresh takes of Inspiration: A Tribute To Nat King Cole (“I knew that stuff ever since I was a baby”). Next, having signed to the Mascot label in 2018, he opened his account in style with Walking To New Orleans, masterfully reinterpreting the hits of Chuck Berry and Fats Domino.
His current album, ‘Weekend In London’, was recorded live at the legendary Ronnie Scotts Club. Check it out and get a live snapshot of this giant and his amazing catalogue of songs and virtuosity.

This Australian tour will feature his whole repertoire of hits as well as a few Fats Domino and Chuck Berry classics that were featured on his previous release, ‘Walking To New Orleans’ album. Don’t miss this world-class act in 2022!

After conquering Bluesfest in 2017, Patti Smith and Her Band took home the Helpmann Award that year for Best International Contemporary Concert. With a stellar band including her son, Jackson, this 2022 tour will be even better!

Smith’s legacy as an artist is already guaranteed. Her debut LP ‘Horses’ has been cited as one of the greatest albums of all time from numerous sources including NME and Rolling Stone and marks the beginning of a long and significant musical career for Patti Smith, one that resonates even greater today and has inspired countless others along the way. ‘Horses’ was followed by another nine albums of original material, books of poetry and a best-selling memoir, an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, world tours and personal appearances.

Her award-winning books are ‘M Train’ (2015), ‘Just Kids’, and most recently ‘Year of the Monkey’ released on 24 Sept 2019. Aside from recording, performing, art and writing, Patti is strongly involved in social issues and continues to participate in various human rights organisations.

We are thrilled to welcome the legendary poet and punk rock artiste Patti Smith to Australia and New Zealand with open arms!

Having built a worldwide following, LP’s song Lost On You has been #1 in 18 countries, her songs are streaming more than 4 million times a day, and her fanbase now reaches all corners of the globe. Her music blends vulnerability, swagger, and steely hooks and she is now making her long-awaited Australian debut this April.

Owning a catalogue that has surpassed 2 billion streams isn’t an easy feat for an artist, but it’s fair to say that American singer-songwriter LP has won the hearts and ears of listeners across the globe! With haunting vocals clearly developed from a young age after growing up with her mother as an Opera singer, LP delivers a spine-tingling vocal performance through the ranges every time she hits the stage.

Laying her cards on the table every time she makes a record, straight shooting LP’s latest release ‘Heart to Mouth’ speaks for itself in that it’s the most direct statement yet. No filter, no censorship and no bullshit. The same can be said for her live performance, with music heavy on minor chords, LP wields her voice in a way that almost hurts the listener expressing true emotion.

With perfectly pitched whistling and her primary instrument, the ukulele used as a building block of her music along with the backing band’s surging guitar rock – this performance will not be ‘Lost on You’!

“Physically a cross between John Cooper Clarke and Patti Smith, vocally a blend of Gwen Stefani and Cyndi Lauper, LP alchemises that patchwork into something not currently available elsewhere” The Guardian

Experience a real slice of musical history and heritage from those who keep the flame of Bob Marley burning strong. When Bob Marley instructed ‘Familyman’ Barrett to ‘keep The Wailers together’ he made it his life’s dedication.

Featuring a stunning line-up of genuine reggae royalty – including heir to the throne, Aston Barrett Jr (son of the legendary ‘Familyman’), guitarist Donald Kinsey, keyboardist Tyrone Downie, and Saxophonist Glen DaCosta; with Josh David Barrett achieving the seemingly impossible by stepping into Bob Marley’s shoes on lead vocal.

After many years absence, their return to the studio last year has resulted in the Grammy-nominated ‘One World’ album. The album is packed with guests including latin urban star Farruko, Shaggy, Cedella Marley, Julian Marley, fellow nominee Skip Marley, Latin Grammy® nominees Natiruts, rising star Emily Estefan, Kush Gad, the urban jazz harmonica player Frederic Yonnet, Jesse Royal, Paul Anthony and from Brazil, the legendary Carlinhos Brown. The album artwork was done by Nesta Garrick and his father Neville who did the album artwork for most of the Bob Marley & The Wailers albums.

Living Legends, Reggae Royalty carrying the flame – now you can be a part of the legacy. When The Wailers come calling, you listen.

Fans call him the next Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder marvels at his musicianship, Frank Ocean has him on his next album. Simply put Cory Henry, a Grammy Award winning artist, composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist and all-around keyboard master, is the future of music!

At the age of two, Cory began playing the organ and by high school, he was a permanent fixture in New York’s rising star venue the Village Underground. From there, his career in music catapulted him onto touring stages with legends like Roots, Kirk Franklin and Kenny Garrett and earned him a Grammy with jazz ensemble Snarky Puppy.
In 2018, Cory independently released his first collection of songs entitled ‘Art of Love’ and has worked with Lauryn Hill, Frank Ocean, J. Cole, Vulfpeck, Bruce Springsteen, Robert Randolph, The Roots, Marcus Miller, Michael McDonald, Ty Dolla $ign and many more, but its as head of his own band, The Funk Apostles, that his stardom has soared. He was selected by Quincy Jones to headline his curated ‘Soundtrack of America’ series opening of The Shed in New York City. Now, Cory Henry is back with a new album of ‘future soul’, ‘Something To Say’. Born from a period of deep reflection, Cory translates his feelings into song and tackles subjects like love, breakups, social consciousness, injustices and the effects of being emotionally drained. Throughout each message on ‘Something To Say’, Cory ultimately hopes to unify listeners through a solid foundation of music that people can feel.

Bringing their unique soul, jazz and gospel music – Cory Henry & The Funk Apostles will bless Australia with their debut tour in 2022!

After a sell-out run in 2019, blues sisters Larkin Poe are back to play even bigger venues in both Melbourne and Sydney. Taking a modern interpretation on traditional blues music, Larkin Poe create a unique brand of gritty, southern-fried blues, roots ‘n’ roll. Rebecca Lovell’s voice is full, comforting and charismatic as is seamlessly blends into her big sister Megan’s gospel-like backing vocals.

Both performing as multi-instrumentalists, it’s Megan that often steals the show, providing the perfect balance with some cracking lap steal solos; their performances that have garnered plenty of high-profile admirers such as Elvis Costello, Keith Urban, Bob Seger and Russell Crowe. In the extraordinary year that was 2020, Larkin Poe continued to be extraordinary, releasing not one, but two albums; ‘Self Made Man’ in June and ‘Kindred Spirits’ in November, the latter housing a fine collection of stripped-back versions of classics and new covers.
